Critical Healing: Moving Out of “Fight or Flight” and into “Rest and Digest” Meditation
Today on HeartBalm Meditations with Sunny, I welcome you to a guided meditation to help you shift from “fight or flight” mode into the more relaxed state of “rest and digest” mode.
You deserve to be in a state of being that brings out the softness in you, not the survival in you.
This is a vital and loving practice for turning down your adrenals and cortisol levels and bringing your sensitive system back into balance. We will also harmonize and balance our solar plexus chakra which is linked to our digestive system.
This guided meditation was inspired by our latest Friday Edition, titled, “Balancing Act: Navigating the Battle Between Fight or Flight vs. Rest and Digest.” Click on the link to read more about these powerful forces, how they affect our lives, and how to find relief, and a more balanced and relaxed state of being.
“The balance between “fight or flight” and “rest and digest” mode can be a constant battle, especially if you experience chronic stress and pain, flashbacks and dissociative episodes, or are frequently exposed to these kinds of stressful situations and the fallout of CPTSD. Many of us find ourselves trapped in the clutches of chronic stress, an incessant state of “fight or flight” that takes a toll on our physical health, our mental well-being, and our sense of spiritual connection.”
