Embracing Fear & Finding Peace Guided Meditation

Today on HeartBalm Meditations with Sunny, I invite you to rest a moment and come back to your own shores – to your own heart, and inner brilliance. Offer yourself a moment to pause and open to the voice within – and the space that is expressing pain, sadness, fury, loneliness, fear, or confusion.

In moments of uncertainty, when heaviness clouds the dawn, we often try to escape uneasy feelings. Yet, what if we saw these feelings as sensations like clouds moving through our inner world? Fear isn't the problem; it is our resistance to it that creates havoc. As we explore the present moment without comparison, we can find relief and a call for self-compassion. This guided meditation encourages you to face fears, realizing they guide you to peace and a deeper connection with your true self. As you strengthen the bond with your true self, set the intention to make this relationship sacred and embrace the wisdom within your complete and loving self.

We can take flight when unusual and discordant feelings settle into our bones and fall around us like a large, dark overcoat – scaring us and making us flee far and wide. We try and move away from what is present and ignore what is asking us to simply stay, and rest in this tender, frightened, and unclear moment. Every time you stop yourself from running away or find the courage to return to yourself again, and check in with your precious being, you strengthen the bonds with your true self. You find the shared connection, and soulful space within you that is asking for your help – the one that knows you by heart – the one that you have known all your life. Make this relationship holy – the one between you and yourself.
