Popcorn Truth
She woke one morning with a vision of fabric being ripped apart at the seam. The few remaining threads held on tightly, while others broke loose. She knew the result would be the same – it would finally all come apart. The last straggling threads would lose the battle.
She could feel the emptiness of this symbolic vision that somehow matched what was within her. This frayed feeling of coming apart at the seams – losing the sense of who she thought she was or would ever be. She felt a deep sadness but there was also relief and exhaustion too, and a readiness and willingness to let it all go and rest. In that moment, she realized she could not hold any of it together anymore. She had to let everything go.
