Creating Pockets of Love with Prayer, Meditation & Mindfulness
Crafting moments of love and serenity isn't just some magical feat but an elegant endeavor in the face of life’s often abrasive and chaotic dance. We can find ourselves in the pit of despair, or facing a failed relationship, or a challenging job, or an area of deep and upsetting change in our lives. Yet, in those moments we may find ourselves flailing wildly to get out of the darkness – to move away from the heaviness of grief and anxiety, and frantically looking in every direction for the means to find the light again. It is in the midst of life's busy rhythms, that we can find respite in a trio of opportunities – in prayer, meditation, and mindfulness, and create little pockets of love that offer us safe haven again, and a release from the harsh grip of struggle and strife, worry and fear. This trio isn’t exclusive to monks on mountain peaks; they're tools anyone can use, and can be customized to fit our needs, and blended into our everyday lives to bring love where it is needed most.
