Embracing Your Beingness and the Love That You Are
There is a vein of life that lumbers along with the world. Dosing the masses with “its” way of being, shoulds, musts, and oughts – making sure you go along with the “norms”, fit in with the group, and don’t think for yourself. Yet, there is another vein of life dear one, that is sourced by love, by individuality, by honoring your “particular” sense of being, your intrinsic quirkiness and living that fully. This sense of being is where freedom, bliss, beauty, and truth exist. Why would anyone want to live a false life? Why would anyone want to ignore their special and inimitable truth – and live in defiance of that? It is never too late to feel into the depths of who you are sweet one. To befriend yourself and come closer to your heart, and to your truth. There is always an invitation waiting for you to dive into the infinite waters of your being – feel into your fullest self, and embrace your unrivaled beingness. As the famous saying goes:
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.
Can you remember a time when you felt uninhibited, totally yourself, able to speak your mind and express yourself fully; free to dance, sing, run and scream out loud? Do you remember how energized, alive, and vibrant you felt – how incredible it felt to be totally at home in your embodied presence in that moment? There are people we know that don’t go with the grain of society or live on the edge of decorum and chaos. When you are around them you feel more free and more able to just be yourself than at other times in your life. You recognize their freedom and ability to live their truth, and their ability to hold space for you, without judgment – to be your authentic self. Their bravery dares you to live more closely to your heart truth and be courageously real also. Sometimes you see characters on tv or in movies that set them apart, show their differences and quirky nature beautifully, defy logical expressions, societal norms, and ways of being, and yet their humanity is more real, rich, and authentic than you witness in others as you go about your daily life. Of course, it is easier to write characters who are exceptional, unique, eccentric, and truly themselves because an actor only need play the part – whereas living and breathing your truest self completely can be more difficult depending on external norms and pressures. Remember the famous saying:
Work like you don’t need the money. Dance like no one is watching. And love like you’ve never been hurt.
