Cultivating Your Intuition
Our intuition can feel like a nebulous thing. It can be there loudly and clearly and at other times when we wish for its guidance, it is silent. Yet, whether this is good or bad and feels unreliable is not the focus here but a way to nurture and befriend our inner wisdom and sensitive intuitive nature. One simple way to cultivate your intuition is to shut off all the clocks in your house. There may be some that you can’t – on the oven perhaps – and you can simply put a post-it note over it. Clocks will still abound trust me, and your habit-loving mind and ego will still tell you what to do and why you should stick to the norms and ignore your intuitive self.
Intuition does not come to an unprepared mind.
_Albert Einstein
If this idea of turning off clocks scares you remember that there is a clock on your phone and your computers and will be present as you go to work and go shopping. Clocks will be everywhere showing you what time it is. You won’t miss any appointments by doing this. This is just an experiment and a way to come closer to your intuitive being and get to know the cravings and needs and vital inner wisdom that we often ignore and take for granted.
